Gap Fillers

As one of the world’s leading manufacturers of low-cost, high-specification components for the aerospace industry, Lamsco West, Inc. is perfectly placed to deliver on all your requirements for fillers for your airframes.
Typically used where tight tolerances are essential and geometries between two mating parts are complex, fillers are small yet essential components. At Lamsco West, Inc, we understand the importance of these components being manufactured to high levels of quality in order to ensure stability and safety in your airframes. As suppliers to the commercial and military sectors of the aerospace industry, as well as to the US space program, our skilled engineers are able to collaborate closely with our customers to ensure that all our products are manufactured to the highest of standards whilst still being cost-effective.

Customer service
Our extensive experience in the aerospace industry means that we have an excellent understanding of our customers’ needs. We know that priorities include avoiding unnecessary stoppages on the production line, with all the associated wasted costs, and so we ensure that our fillers are manufactured in such a way as to be highly repeatable. We offer a one-stop-shop for all manufacturing and finishing processes, meaning we reduce lead times. Additionally, we retain quality assurance of all stages of production. This results in fillers that can be seamlessly fitted into your production schedule, with no quality issues such as burrs to cause any difficulty. We have achieved accreditation in ISO9001 and AS9100 among others, and our outstanding customer services has attracted numerous industry awards, such as Boeing’s Performance Excellence Award, which we achieved over 12 consecutive years.

Extensive portfolio of materials
It is essential that all fillers are able to withstand the environmental stresses that are specific to the area of the airframe where they will be used. For this reason, we manufacture fillers in a wide range of materials, including aluminum, titanium, stainless steel, brass and beryllium copper. Non-metal materials include nylon, polyimide, mylar and composites. It is vital that the specific materials used are appropriate to withstand stressors such as extremes of heat and exposure to chemicals or moisture or UV light. Our engineers and technicians are highly experienced and are always on-hand to advise on the most appropriate materials to use for each individual project.
